Welcome to CRISP3.

Hey there! Welcome to my new website. I’m CRISP3, and I’m  pretty pumped to have this spot to share music things with you. Whether you’re into music, love being creative, or just curious, I’m glad you’re here. Before we get into it, I want to give a "brief" monologue that lead to were I am today: 

Where it all Started...

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Southern California, I was drawn to the intensity and emotion of metal, the energy of electronic dance music, and the sense of connection that comes from performing and sharing music. I started out in high school as a guitarist and lead vocalist for a band called 'All Rights Reserved,' performing extensively across the SoCal area and even opening for acts like Jake E. Lee (from The Ozzy Osbourne Band) and Pierce the Veil. Unfortunately, the band has broken up, leaving me to my own devices. However, that has not stopped me from pursuing my passion. I decided to apply for college, not knowing what was ahead of me, and ventured into DJing under the name CRISP3. It was a nickname my colleagues used to call me in my music classes. I ended up playing a lot of house parties and discovered a love for Electric sounds, making me really want to incorporate this into my identity..

Thus, the name CRISP3 stuck to me. I am CRISP3 

Coming to Japan

Three years ago, I made the bold decision to move to Japan. Initially, I came here to teach English and immerse myself in the culture, but deep down, I knew this was also an opportunity to pursue my dream of being a musician. Japan’s vibrant music scene and rich cultural tapestry have been incredibly inspiring, and living here has opened my eyes to new possibilities. From the energy of live shows to the creativity of local artists, I’ve found endless motivation to keep pushing forward.

The Future is Here: An Album and Live Houses

As the title entails, I’m working on creating my debut album. This project will blend my modern metal perspective with the energetic, pulse-pounding beats of EDM, creating a new, and rather unique sound. This album is my way of expressing the emotions, struggles, and triumphs I’ve experienced along the way, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

In addition to recording, I’m gearing to start my first debut performance in Japan. I’ve just booked my first gig here, and it’s only the beginning. Whether I’m behind the decks or with a guitar in hand, I want my performances to be an unforgettable experience, a space where anyone who’s ever felt like a misfit or an outsider can feel at home. My ultimate goal is to connect with people through music and create something that resonates with audiences on a deep level.
